Yes, Québec City has a delightful Cat Café!

There is a Cat Café in Québec City. You’re Welcome.

There is a cat café in Quebec City?! Yes, yes it does. And if you are a cat-lover you totally need to go there. We recommend going pretty much whenever they are open. You won’t be disappointed. How could you be, it is a CAT CAFÉ!!!

Located in the neighbourhood of Vieux Port, across from Gare du Palais (VIA Rail train station), Café Félin Ma langue aux chats is hidden in plain sight along rue Saint-Paul.

We have no doubt that if you didn’t know it existed, you would probably walk past it without knowing. We have. Thankfully we have a map at the bottom of this post to help you find your way.

The cat café itself is small and cozy with plenty of seating spaces: low tables with floor seats on one side; red, blue and green plaid barrel-back chairs on the other side; normal tables and chairs in the back, and a couple seats along a bar. We wish we could spend the entire day here, but alas, we need to work at some point.

Scratching posts and cat beds can be seen on the floor. The walls are adorned with wooden ledges, as well as fur-lined skateboards for sleepy cats.

If you are lucky enough to sit by the window, we highly recommend it as many of the cats gravitate to them for wee naps.

The cat café offers FREE wifi, had offers a light snack menu with vegan and gluten-free options. The money earned at the café pays for the food and care of the cats, so please do not order one cup of coffee and stay an afternoon, be generous – we want the cats to happy and healthy and for the cat café to stay open forever.

Note: You will be asked to remove your shoes when entering, so bring some socks or slippers with you if your feet get cold easily.
